The Macon Bacon announced the name of their mascot on Friday.
The Macon Bacon is proud to announce the new Bacon, Kevin.
There were more than 2,000 people who suggested a name for the mascot, according to a Macon Bacon news release.
After sifting through ideas, the release states there was one clear winner.
Kevin was introduced at the Boys and Girls Club of Central Georgia to a crowd of kids who took pictures with Kevin and got autographs after the announcement.
