Fans of the Macon Bacon will see some new additions to Luther Williams Field come May 2019.
On Tuesday, they announced the addition of a tiki bar and a Kids Zone with three different areas.
Macon Bacon marketing director Tyler Vertin said the estimated cost of the additions are $35,000 total and they are paying for them.
So, what can fans expect from that?
The Kids Zone will contain a batting cage, a whiffle ball field and a playground.
“We surveyed our fans and one of the most common things said was having some additional activities for the kids to do during the game,” said team president, Brandon Raphael.
The Tiki Bar on the concourse will have seating, tiki torches and other items to give you the feeling of being at the beach. Tropical drinks, like rum slushies, will also be served.
