Logging truck jackknifes, causing oil spill and second crash

Oil dry is being used to clean up the area.

MACON, Ga. — A logging truck spilled fuel on Gray Highway after jackknifing around noon, according to the Bibb County Sheriff’s Office. 

The truck was traveling north on Gray Highway before wrecking at the Shurling Drive intersection. The truck did not hit any other vehicles but the fuel tank was damaged.

A pickup truck coming through the area skidded on the oil and hit a guardrail. There were no injuries reported. Oil dry is being used to clean up the area. Traffic is moving through the area again.
