MACON, Ga. — Lots of kids and parents showed up to Northeast High School on Saturday to get resources and guides for test prep.
The Georgia Milestones assessments are coming up next week, and teachers at the Eastside Zone schools wanted to make sure their students were ready.
Around 50 students and families attended, with testing tip packets, mental health resources, and information on the Milestones to make the experience easier for students.
There were also fun events to help kids shake off testing jitters, like basketball, board games, and a giant Sorry game board!
There was also a BBQ tent set up in the lot of the school for families to get a good meal.
The fest lasted from noon to 3 p.m. on Saturday.
