MACON, Ga. — Folks in Macon on Saturday were able to help the earth by recycling old papers, electronics, and more.
Keep Macon-Bibb Beautiful hosted the free recycling day at Luther Williams Field.
Folks pulled up in their cars and opened trunks as workers and volunteers pulled out bags of old papers.
They had one area for paper shredding, where people could bring 3 bags or boxes of loose paper to dispose of.
Another area was for recycling old electronics, including old cell phones, computers, car batteries, and more.
People could also bring full or half full paint cans to recycle.
