BUTTS COUNTY, Ga. — A man has been arrested after an hours long standoff with police in Butts County.
On Sunday, police responded to a call about a person screaming in the Fox Hollow Subdivision according to the Butts County Sheriff's Office.
They say when police arrived a man shot at police. One officer was injured but it was not life threatening.
The man then barricaded himself inside the house and a SWAT team arrived to take over the scene.
Around 8 a.m. on Monday, the standoff ended and the man has been arrested according to a post from the Butts County Sheriff's Office Facebook page.
