Man held at gunpoint in home invasion at Warner Robins home by pair of men in ski masks

In a release, the police department says it happened early Friday morning.

WARNER ROBINS, Ga. — The Warner Robins Police Department is investigating a robbery at an apartment on Highway 96 just after 12:30 a.m.

21-year-old Courtney Smith was sitting inside his apartment early Friday morning when he heard a noise at his front door. Two men wearing all black with ski masks had forced their way inside the apartment. Smith was held at gunpoint while the pair stole things from inside his apartment. The robbery is still under investigation, according to the release.

Three hours later a teen was injured in a shooting by a man in a ski mask in the 100 block of Delaware Drive in Warner Robins. 13WMAZ has reached out to the Warner Robins Police Department and they say at this time they do not believe the shooting and home invasion are related.

Anyone with information in either of the two cases you can reach Det. Smith and Det. Garcia at (478)302-5378 or call Macon Regional Crimestoppers.
