Easter is still more than a week away, but the Cherry Blossom Festival got a head start with its first ever Easter Egg Hunt!
Thousands of people packed into Middle Georgia State University's Macon campus as they tried to get a good spot for the hunt.
What makes this event unique are the helicopters dropping eggs full of candy and prizes out of the sky.
But that's not all the kids could do, there were also bouncy houses, shaved ice and a bubble blaster they could play in.
Even the 2018 Cherry Blossom Queen Faith Fabian joined in on all of the fun.
"I actually helped one of the two-year-old's go get her eggs. She wasn't quite sure what was going on but I think she had a lot of fun," she says.
More than 10 thousand eggs were dropped for the kids.
