MACON, Ga. — A man allegedly broke into the Krispy Kreme Donut shop on Gray Highway on Saturday morning.
According Krispy Kreme District Manager Annabell Monck, the intruder didn't steal anything. He "broke in and went to the front door got something to drink. No money... didn't tear up registers," she said.
She said that whoever broke in must have been "thirsty and needed somewhere to rest."
She went on to say they aren't sure what time the break in occurred, as they haven't reviewed the security footage yet.
The man was still in the Krispy Kreme when law enforcement arrived, and they arrested Derrick Bratcher on a second degree charge of burglary for the break in.
Monck says if they can clean up the mess, the store will try to remain open.
