Hundreds of cars were lining the street in front of Kings Chapel Elementary School for their annual Grandparents' Day Celebration.
Over 500 grandparents showed up enjoy a performance put on by the students, and they got to sit down and enjoy a lunch with their grandchildren afterward.
Linda Terrer says she's been coming for years to support all 10 of her grandchildren, and it's a day she looks forward to.
"Well, when I walked in the room, his face just lit up this morning. It just made me feel so happy. I just feel so loved and so needed and wanted, and that's what I want to feel," she says.
Principal William Rays says it's important to highlight the importance of grandparents in their students lives and thanking them for all they do.
