GORDON, Ga. — The Gordon Christmas parade kicked off on Saturday, after a 4 year hiatus.
The festivities began at 3 p.m. in downtown Gordon, with the theme of the parade being "Home for the Holidays".
The parade was also accompanied by an event called "Caroling on the Green" from 6- 8 p.m.
Folks could bring chairs to sit and enjoy free hot chocolate, coffee, and cookies.
Santa and Mrs. Claus were both welcomed 'on the green' after the parade for pictures.
The Grinch also made an appearance, as well as horses, fire trucks, and much more.
