ATLANTA (AP) - Rapper T.I. will perform at the Atlanta Hawks' home opener against the Indiana Pacers.
The Grammy-winning rapper is expected to take the court before the game, during halftime and after the final buzzer Saturday night at Philips Arena. He recently released his ninth album, "Paperwork," which claimed the No. 2 spot on the Billboard charts this week.
T.I. will perform in front of a sellout crowd expected to watch the Hawks and Pacers, who faced each other in the NBA playoffs last season. Indiana beat Atlanta in seven games in the first round series.
Atlanta fans will have their first look at more than a slightly tweaked Hawks roster. There is a new court, new high-definition scoreboard, new sound system and new uniforms.
