The Georgia Peach Festival will be held the first and second weekends of June in Peach County
The annual festival, which honors peach growers, will be held in Fort Valley June 1-2 and Byron on June 9, according to its website.
Every festival has a trademark, and for the Georgia Peach Festival it's the "world's largest peach cobbler."
"Everybody comes from everywhere to taste our world's largest peach cobbler," said Tisa Horton, the CEO for the festival.
She says for Fort Valley's festivities, there will be several people walking up and down the streets of downtown Fort Valley looking for a taste of what the festival has to offer.
"You'll hear music and you'll see a lot of vendors; we'll have over 30 to 40 vendors," Horton said. "We'll have food truck vendors -- that's new for this year."
Horton added that fresh peaches will be sold, local authors will read to the children, and there will be a parade and helicopter rides.
There will also be a health expo from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m. on Saturday and the community can come out and get health screenings.
As far as the Byron festivities on June 9, there will also be food vendors, shopping and a concert with three bands to top off the festivities.
In Byron, the festival will be held at North Peach Park on West White Road.
