10 people arrested after 4 month drug investigation in Milledgeville

Agents seized guns and drugs during search warrants done in the investigation.

MILLEDGEVILLE, Ga. — Ten people from Milledgeville are in custody after a 4-month drug investigation, according to a press release from the Georgia Bureau of Investigation. 

On June 12, the Middle Georgia Gang Task Force (MGGTF) arrested six people involved in drug trafficking sales in Milledgeville. These arrests led agents to four others for drugs and gun charges. 

During search warrants, agents seized three handguns, three rifles, approximately one pound of suspected marijuana, approximately one ounce of suspected cocaine, one bottle of suspected codeine, and one handgun “switch," the release says. 

Those charged are as follows:

  • Juan Diego Hartry, 48, of Milledgeville, GA, charged with Trafficking of Methamphetamine and Sale of Methamphetamine.
  • Kirk Patrick Mosley, 51, of Milledgeville, GA, charged with 2 counts of 1st Degree Arson.
  • Trinity Amen Garcia, 17, of Milledgeville, GA, charged with Trafficking Cocaine.
  • Kayleigh Ann Larimore, 19, of Milledgeville, GA, charged with Trafficking Cocaine.
  • Charles Gene Cook, 56, of Milledgeville, GA, charged with Sale of Methamphetamine.
  • Crystal Monique Mitchell, 39, of Milledgeville, GA, charged with 4 counts of Sale of Cocaine, Possession of Drug Related Objects, Possession of Cocaine with Intent to Distribute, and Possession of Firearm During the Commission of a Crime.
  • Demontea Keshawn Bundrage, 18, of Milledgeville, GA, charged with Possession of Marijuana with Intent to Distribute, 3 counts of Possession of Firearm During the Commission of a Crime, Possession of Schedule V Substance, Possession of Drug Related Objects, and Tampering with Evidence.
  • Javan Tashawn Mitchell, 21, of Milledgeville, GA, charged with Possession of Marijuana with Intent to Distribute, 3 counts of Possession of Firearm During the Commission of a Crime, Possession of Schedule V Substance, Possession of Drug Related Objects, and Tampering with Evidence.
  • Davin Jamond Mitchell, 22, of Milledgeville, GA, charged with Possession of Marijuana with Intent to Distribute, 3 counts of Possession of Firearm During the Commission of a Crime, Possession of Schedule V Substance, Possession of Drug Related Objects, and Tampering with Evidence.
  • Lucille Peggy Mitchell, 63, of Milledgeville, GA, charged with Possession of Marijuana with Intent to Distribute, 3 counts of Possession of Firearm During the Commission of a Crime, Possession of Schedule V Substance, Possession of Drug Related Objects, and Tampering with Evidence.

They say agencies involved started the investigation "to make an impact on the current drug distribution and gang activity within Central Georgia and to promote a safer place for productive citizens."
