GAINESVILLE, Ga. — A Georgia man was arrested after he allegedly stole a $58,000 tractor from a construction site in Gainesville, police said.
He is accused of stealing a Takeuchi Skid Steer, a compact track loader often used at construction sites, according to the manufacturer's website. Police said the tractor was stolen from a site off Heritage Glen Drive and was recovered down the road.
The 34-year-old Gainesville man was taken into custody and charged with theft by receiving, according to police. He is now being held in the Hall County Jail.
