MACON, Ga. — The community gathered at Centenary United Methodist Church for a free health fair on Saturday.
The Hispanic Health Fair had lots of free resources and services for attendee, with help from over two dozen agencies.
Mercer doctors, Several Family agencies, Bibb Health Dept., Bibb school system, radio stations, State Health Agencies, Central GA Technical College, Family Counseling for mental health, Churches, RISE, and more were all there to provide services like social services, healthcare, education, and more.
Physicians and experts answered health questions, make appointments, conducted health screenings, assisted with health insurance, mental health services, ESOL Programs, and more.
There were also free Chic-Fil-A for attendees, raffles, games, and other giveaways.
Lots of Mercer students also came out to help families and kids make the most of the fair.
