A Florida man received two life sentences without parole after a jury convicted him of murdering his aunt and uncle in Gordon, Ocmulgee District Attorney T Wright Barksdale confirms.

Jordan Lemaster, 36, was arrested back in 2022 for the killing of Pam and Ricky Williams in their Wilkinson County home. The couple were in their 70s at the time Lemaster is believed to have killed them.

Even after the trial, Barksdale says investigators don't exactly know why.

The killing of Pam and Ricky Williams shook the community, with Gordon's police chief Mike Hall acknowledging at the time it was an unusual case.

"This is really rare, a murder like this here. I've been here for 34 years. I think it was 30 years ago, was my first murder I seen that was like this," Hall said.

At the time, Lemaster and his mother — who is Pam's sister — were living with the Williams after their home had been destroyed in Florida.

Lemaster's mother was the one to discover the bodies, and according to Barksdale, stumbled on a horrific crime scene.

He says it was a bloody scene and both victims were stabbed with large knives.

After the killing, Barksdale says Lemaster dumped five large bags at the Loves Travel Stop in Macon off of I-475. But inside the bags, investigators found bloody clothes — and the murder knives, Barksdale said.

Lemaster was arrested two days later in Sebastian, Florida while driving the couple's SUV.

The Wilkinson County jury convicted Lemaster on Wednesday.

"Pam and Ricky Williams were wonderful people," the DA's Office said in a statement. "Their murders were a loss for the entire community.
