Family, fun, and flight: Museum of Aviation hosts annual Family Day in Warner Robins

Folks could see equipment up close, climb into cockpits of planes, talk to experts, and more.

WARNER ROBINS, Ga. — Folks in Warner Robins on Saturday got the opportunity to fly high!

Everyone was welcome to the Museum of Aviation's annual family day, where folks could see a helicopter up close, climb into cockpits of planes, talk to experts, and more.

There were also booths and STEM activity centers set up for people to interact with.

There were also veterans set up along the booths and activities, with name tags by them. Families could stop and chat with them to hear stories about what it was like to be up in the air.

After all the flying fun, families could dine at some of the food trucks on site.

The event started in 2022, and last year brought in over 6,000 people.
