An execution date now set for the man convicted of killing Donovan Parks outside of a Milledgeville Walmart.
Robert Butts is scheduled to die by lethal injection on May 3.
Court records show in March of 1996, Butts and another man followed Parks to his car and asked him for a ride. A short while later, Parks was shot and killed.
Butts and the other man then took his car and set it on fire.
Butts was convicted in 1998 and is scheduled to be Georgia's second execution in 2018.
