East Dublin police responding to the home of a missing woman said the door was kicked in and a knife was found on the floor.
According to a Nov. 6 East Dublin police report, Fields' boyfriend, Lorenzo Nelson, told officers his girlfriend was home sick when he went to work. When he returned, Nelson told officers the back door was kicked in and he found a kitchen knife on the floor in the hallway, the police report states. Nelson also told officers that the rear bedroom of the home at 204 Celia Drive was "tossed."
GBI officials said Friday evidence suggests Fields' disappearance is foul play.
Witnesses told investigators the last time they saw Fields was Nov. 5, police said.
