Dublin Christmas Bazaar helps feed community this holiday season

All their items for sale are donated by a local charity, and the money they make from the bazaar goes back to their community.

DUBLIN, Ga. — On Saturdays, a Dublin church is spreading holiday cheer and giving back to the community with a the Encore Christmas Bazaar. 

Christ Episcopal Church has rooms filled with all things Christmas, including

  • clothes
  • wreaths
  • ornaments
  • Christmas trees
  • kitchenware
  • fabric
  • hats
  • nativity scenes 
  • ribbons

All their items for sale are donated by a local charity, and the money they make from the bazaar goes back to their community. The church has a food pantry that they've been growing to fill the community need in Dublin. 

Mary Shrock volunteers at the Bazaar, and said there's something for everybody to love inside their doors. 

"It's a big blessing in people's lives, because it's just one more avenue that they can supplement their incomes," Shrock said. 

The Bazaar opened on Oct. 21 and is going through Dec. 2. They will also be open Friday, Nov. 24 from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. and on Friday, Dec. 1 from 3:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. 

The bazaar is located on the corner of Madison and Church street, across from ABC Women's Clinic.
