MACON, Ga. — A man on the Macon Regional Crimestoppers Top 15 Most Wanted list was arrested Wednesday after his family member drew a gun on police.
Bibb County deputies got a tip that 32-year-old Kenon Newbill was at a house off of Rocky Creek Road, according to a release from the sheriff’s office.
The release says deputies were going to the house and noticed Newbill’s family member, 55-year-old Andre Newbill, was pulling a gun out of his pocket.
He dropped the gun after being asked by Bibb deputies, who checked his record and saw that he is a felon. He was taken to the Bibb County Jail and is facing gun charges.
Then deputies went inside, arrested Kenon, and charged him with violating probation and failure to register as a sex offender. He was also taken to the Bibb County Jail and is being held on an $11,200 bond.
Andre is being held on an $8,670 bond.
