MACON, Ga. — A federal grand jury this week indicted a Cordele man, accused of stealing more than 60 weapons from Howard's Pawn Shop.
It happened back in April of 2023.
Bibb county investigators say burglars entered the building on Mercer University Drive after making a large hole in a brick wall.
Then a week later, several agencies searched a Cordele home and found about half the guns.
Now, Rontavious Jackson is charged with stealing those weapons, possessing stolen guns , and weapons possession by a convicted felon.
Last year, the sheriff's office reported that two masked men broke into Howard's.
We've asked whether they have any information on a second suspect, and so far, they've not responded.
