MACON, Ga. — Folks in Macon can channel their inner cookie monster starting on Friday Jan. 12.
Cookie Fest is coming to downtown, and will feature three days of sweet treats, along with some specialty brews.
Most people pair milk with their cookies, but one Macon brewery has a better idea - beers.
Fall Line Brewing Company is launching their Oatmeal Raisin Stout, called 'Midnight Munchies'.
You can pair the beer with a flight of cookies, or just snag some cookies for yourself.
They will also have edible cookie dough to snack on, along with several cookie-themed activities.
There will be a cookie recipe swap, cookie coloring activities, and more.
They will also have a cookie market from 1- 5 p.m. on Saturday, where local vendors can sell cookies and sweet treats.
Cookie Monster himself is even rumored to be there, so be sure to keep a spare cookie on hand in case you run into him.
You can find Fall Line Brewery at 567 Plum Street in Macon.
