FORSYTH, Ga. — Folks in Forsyth on Saturday had the chance to show off their shooting skills - all for a good cause.
The Clays for CASA tournament kicked off at 8:30 a.m., with lots of teams vying for first place.
Al the proceeds from registration went to CASA, the the Central Georgia Court Appointed Special Advocates organization.
Their mission is to help advocate for children in foster care, and recruit advocates and volunteers to help kids in the foster system.
"This is a great opportunity for people to help advocate for the children who need us the most," says Central Georgia CASA Executive Director Susanna Patterson. "The impact a single volunteer has on a child's future is huge and joining us for this fundraiser will have a tremendous impact on our entire community."
Participants got to compete at the Meadows Gun Club, and help the community while hoping for a trophy.
Lunch was also provided, and folks could eat at the outdoor pavilion in between rounds.
The competition lasted until 12:30 p.m.
