SPARTA, Ga. — The city of Sparta is under a boil water advisory due to cloudy water.
According to a release from the mayor, the rain over the past few days has caused runoff into Lake Sinclair, affecting the treatment process.
The advisory will be lifted at 11 p.m. January 4.
Bring water to a boil, let it boil for one minute, then cool and drink or drink from bottle water.
