A body found in the woods in Fort Valley at the beginning of November has been identified, according to the Fort Valley Department of Public Safety.
A release says it was the body of Jean Jenkins, who was reported missing by her family on October 25.
Her body was found in the woods of Davidson Street on November 1.
An investigation into her cause of death by the GBI Crime Lab is incomplete.
The investigation is ongoing and more information will be released at a later time.
