Bo Adams will succeed George Nunn as Superior Court Judge in Houston County.
Adams faced off against Jeffrey Grube in Tuesday's Runoff. Adams won with 71 percent of the votes and Grube at 29 percent.
Adams says he is glad he got to go through the campaigning experience with Grube.
"We worked hard and I had to work hard because I knew my opponent was out there working hard. Jeff Grube is a quality man, a good attorney, and I know he worked hard, and I'm appreciative to him for us, going through this campaign together is a learning process for me and I thank him for going through it with me. But he worked hard and I knew we were going to have to work hard, and we did and it paid off,” says Adams.
Judge Nunn is retiring in December. Adams will take over in January.
