Concerned Citizens of Gordon, Ga. posted the following video on 13WMAZ's Facebook page. The group said they obtained the video through an open records request. It's from an officer's body camera and shows Gordon Mayor Mary Ann Whipple-Lue confronting the officer as he's arresting a man in front of the mayor's property.
Whipple-Lue appears agitated in the video, demanding the officer move the vehicles because they are in her way.
At one point in the video, Whipple-Lue told the officer she would move his car if he doesn't. The officer then threatens to arrest her.
Concerned Citizens of Gordon, Ga. has been battling with the mayor during the last year trying to have her removed from office alleging she abuses her mayoral powers.
