Bibb Sheriff's Office looking for suspect in Macon armed robbery

No one was hurt.

MACON, Ga. — The Bibb County Sheriff's Office is looking for a man after an armed robbery in Macon, according to a press release. 

They say it happened on Thursday around 11:34 a.m. at the Family Dollar on Rocky Creek Road. 

A masked man entered the store and held up a gun at the store clerk, the release says. 

The clerks then ran from the store. 

The suspect was unable to take anything from behind the register and ran from the store towards Bloomfield Road. 

No one was hurt. 

Anyone with information or knows the identity of this suspect is urged to contact the Bibb County Sheriff’s Office at 478-751-7500, or the Macon Regional Crimestoppers at 1-877-68CRIME.
