MACON, Ga. — A man is dead after being shot on Triple Hill Drive in Macon, according to a press release from the Bibb County Sheriff's Office.
It happened on Sunday around 3:35 a.m.
Deputies were called out to the 1000 block of Triple Hill Drive about shots fired in the area.
They found a 42-year-old man with a gunshot wound.
Paramedics responded to the scene and the man was taken to Atrium Health Navicent for treatment.
No one else was injured.
The victim was identified as Clifford Tyron Browner.
His next of kin has been notified.
Investigators are working to determine what led up to the incident.
