Bibb Sheriff's office hosts 'Santa's Village Outreach,' providing toys for kids this Christmas

The event was free, and kids aged 4-14 got to choose from a wide variety of options like dolls, toy cars, books, playsets, and much more.

MACON, Ga. — Kids from all over town got a nice Christmas surprise Saturday morning from the Bibb County Sheriff's Office.

They hosted 'Santa's Village Outreach,' an event designed to provide toys for kids at Christmas.

Registration for gifts began at 9 a.m., and parents and kids lined up at the Sheriff's Office Outreach and Restorative Justice Center to receive a gift. 

The event was free, and kids aged 4-14 got to choose from a wide variety of options like dolls, toy cars, books, playsets, and much more. 

The toys wee distributed on a first-come, first-serve basis.

In addition to seeing Santa....kids also got to see another famous holiday figure - this one of the mean and green variety. The Grinch himself made an appearance.
