Bibb deputies investigating after shooting at Waffle House

​In a press release, they say it happened just after 4 a.m. on Chambers Road.

MACON, Ga. — The Bibb County Sheriff's Office is investigating after three people were injured an a Waffle House shooting on Saturday.

In a press release, they say that just after 4 a.m. on Oct. 14, it was reported that a shooting took place at the Waffle House on Chambers Road.

They say a 33-year-old man, a 29-year-old man, and a 28-year-old woman had entered the Waffle House and ate there. While paying for their food, another customer, 35-year-old Darryes Monteze Hill began shooting.

The three people were all hit once in the lower leg. Hill was also hit in the lower leg.

Everyone was taken to Atrium Health Navicent and are listed in stable condition.

No one else was injured in the shooting.

Hill will be charged with 3 counts of Aggravated Assault, Possession of a Firearm during the Commission of a Felony, and Theft by Receiving Stolen Property. Once Hill is discharged from the hospital, he will be taken to the Bibb County Jail.
