Bibb County libraries' funding crisis isn't over just yet.
The Shurling, Riverside, and Charles A. Lanford Branch Public Libraries say their doors are closed their doors until further notice.
They posted signs on their doors saying they'll reopen their doors when their monthly payments come in from county government. Until then, they are asking the public to remain patient.
The county commissioners on Tuesday approved about $2.8 million to fund the main library and its three branches for the coming year.
The Washington Memorial library downtown will remain open until its reserves run out.
