The Bibb County Sheriff's Office is searching for a person of interest in one of four shootings that took place in Macon overnight on Saturday.
Darnell Mitchell, 26, is wanted in connection with the murder of Jim Baldwin, 44, according to a Bibb County Sheriff's Office news release.
A call came in just after 1 a.m. from the 1500 block of Berkner Avenue when deputies found Jim Baldwin, 44, who was shot in the the main artery of his leg, according to a Bibb County Sheriff's Office news release.
Baldwin was pronounced dead at Navicent Health at 1:48 a.m. The release says that after the incident, the suspect fled on foot.
