MACON, Ga. — A person of interest was arrested in Gabriella Dixon's missing person case, the Bibb County Sheriff's Office said.
They say 19-year-old Jatarvius Deangelo Price was arrested at a home in Juliette at around 12:30 p.m. on Thursday.
Currently, however, Price has only been charged with making false statements and tampering with evidence. They say he has not been granted bond.
Dixon went missing on Oct. 30 in the 1900 block of Pinehill Drive, which is off of Shurtling Drive. Since then, Dixon has not been seen or heard from.
The press release does not provide any details about what role they think Price may have played. It does, however, say that he was arrested "in connection" to Dixon's investigation.
13WMAZ requested an incident report from the Bibb County Sheriff's Office to help explain his role. When they got back, they provided the previous incident report about Dixon's disappearance at large.
The father of Dixon's child, Reginald Harris, was previously arrested on outstanding charges. He was arrested on four domestic violence charges, but the sheriff's office says that they do not directly relate to Dixon's disappearance.
All of the charges allege violence against Dixon. According to one warrant, Harris followed Dixon's car down Old Clinton Road Sept. 3. He shot at her, and her children inside, the warrant says.
Just three weeks later, warrants show another incident at the couple's downtown Macon apartment. It says Harris choked Dixon and pointed a gun at her.
If you have any information about where Dixon is, you are asked to call the Bibb County Sheriff's Office at 478-751-7500. You can also call the Macon Regional Crime Stoppers at 1-877-68CRIME.
