The former Baldwin Bowling Center is now the new and improved Lake Country Lanes.
On Saturday, they held their grand opening in Milledgeville -- offering a free hour of bowing.
But the name isn't the only thing that's changed.
Bob and Cynthia Binkley have spent the last eight months upgrading and remodeling the bowling center, making it their own.
They've added Strikers Lounge and Sports Bar, which takes up four times the space of the old bar.
It's full-service and open seven days a week. The space is packed with pool tables, dart boards, and even a new snack bar.
Judging by the crowd, they seemed to be pleased with the upgrades.
The Binkley’s say Lake Country Lanes looks a lot better now than it used to.
"This place used to be so busy. It was so busy and then all of a sudden, for various reasons which I don't really know, the business seemed to slack off and we thought it could come back,” said the Binkley’s. “We're giving it a shot and we hope the community will support it.”
The Binkley’s say they're still planning other projects like resurfacing the parking lot, and remodeling the bathrooms.
