A crash on I-16 westbound near Sgoda Road has closed all lanes, according to the Georgia Department of Transportation's 511 page.
They say it started at 7:33 p.m. Originally, the anticipated end time was 8:03 p.m. But it has since been pushed back to 10 p.m., according to GDOT.
Then, when we checked at 10:43 p.m., 511 says that all lanes are still closed. They pushed back the reopening time even later to 2:37 a.m.
We called the Twiggs County Sheriff's Office and we were transferred to Chief Deputy Buddy Long. They said he is on the scene.
We followed up at around 9:50 p.m. and they said that everyone is still on the scene.
This is a developing story. We will provide more details as they become available.
