A 75-year-old woman was found shot to death in her Macon home on Saturday night.
Anne Leonard's body was found Bibb County deputies who entered her home on Vining Circle after a requested welfare check.
Bibb County deputy coroner Lonnie Miley pronounced Leonard dead at 8:25 p.m.
Sergeant Clay Williams with the Bibb County Sheriff's Office says a bullet came through the kitchen window of Leonard's home and struck her.
Williams says they are investigating if this shooting is connected to another fatal shooting that took place early Saturday morning on Mason Street.
