59-year-old man hit and killed by semi-truck in a Warner Robins parking lot

It happened just before 9 a.m. this morning.

WARNER ROBINS, Ga. — One person is dead after being hit by a truck in Houston County earlier this morning, according to Houston County Coroner James Williams.

59-year-old David Bryant Webb of Manchester, Georgia was in the parking lot behind the Kroger at 774 Highway 96 in Warner Robins just before 9 a.m. on Tuesday when he was hit by the commercial trash truck. 

Lieutenant Eric Gossman with the Warner Robins Police Department says it was a semi-truck making some kind of delivery to Kroger.

Webb was pronounced dead at the scene by Williams. The Warner Robins Police Department is handling the investigation. 

There is no further information is available at this time.
