5 arrested, 1 wanted after Bibb County meth bust

Deputies are looking for one of the suspects who was not home when a warrant was executed

MACON, Ga. — Five people are being held without bond at the Bibb County jail and deputies are looking for another man after a meth bust earlier this month.

According to a news release, Bibb deputies, Peach County deputies and DEA agents served warrants on four spots in Bibb County on Sept 7 around 5:30 p.m.

The warrants were for addresses in the 7200-block of Houston Road, 6000-block of Taylor Drive, 3600-block of Jones Road and 2300-block of Allen Road.

A total of one kilo of meth, one firearm, three cars and $8,000 were seized – and five people were arrested.

Deputies arrested Richard Allen III, 43, and Nicole Smith, 32, at the Houston Road location.

Allen is charged with meth trafficking, possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, possession of meth with intent to distribute and possession of a firearm during commission of a felony.

Smith is charged with meth trafficking, possession of meth with intent to distribute, and possession of a firearm during commission of a felony.

James Staples III, 44, was arrested at the Taylor Drive location. He’s charged with meth trafficking and possession of meth with intent to distribute.

Richard Moore, 44, and Ashley Bailey, 31, were arrested at the Jones Road location. Moore is charged with meth trafficking and Bailey is charged with possession of meth with intent to distribute.

Deputies are still looking for Wayne Tisdale, 32, because he was not at his Allen Road home when the warrant was executed. He’s wanted for conspiracy to traffic meth.
