17-year-old shot and injured in Crawford County on Monday night

It happened just before 11 p.m. on Monday.

CRAWFORD COUNTY, Georgia — A 17-year-old was shot and injured on Monday night on Richardson Mill Road, according to a release from Crawford County Sheriff Lewis Walker.

It happened just before 11 p.m. on Monday night. The teen was taken by a family member to Atrium Navicent Health with a gunshot wound. 

The shooting happened in the 2800 block of Richardson Mill Road. 

The teen is listed in stable condition at this time. 

The Crawford County Sheriff’s Office is working to determine what led to the shooting and who else is involved.
