The belly button challenge sweeping the Internet stars people with tiny bodies, and leaves others with a diminishing sense of self worth.
People are asked to wrap their arm around their backs and see if they can touch their belly button, and this activity supposed has drawn 130 million people, according to the Daily Mail.
The simple move is supposed to let people know if they need to lose weight. But instead, the activity seems to favor very thin people with very flexible arms.
Anyone trying this is then pressured to post photos of their successes and failures, and endure Internet praise or scorn.
The challenge started on Weibo, the Chinese version of Twitter.
