Dennis Eason, who was charged in the shooting death of 8 year old Jai'mel Anderson, will be back in Peach County Superior Court next week.
Peach County Sheriff Terry Deese says Eason was set to have an arraignment hearing before Judge Tripp Self Wednesday morning, but since his lawyer did not show up, Self postponed the hearing.
Eason is scheduled to appear next Wednesday at 9 a.m.
Eason is one of six men charged in the murder of 8-year-old Jai'mel Anderson. The child was shot several times at the Indian Oaks Apartments on East Street back in January.
He is charged with felony and malice murder, aggravated assault, and making terroristic threats.
