As the school year approaches, check out these events from July to August for giveaways, free school supplies, family events and more!
When: July 13, 9 a.m. - 11 a.m.
Where: U Create Macon Innovation Campus, 1065 Anthony Rd.
The Humanitarian Gang Inc. will give away school supplies and back-to-school haircuts. There will also be a raffle.
When: July 10 from 9 a.m. - 1 p.m.
Where: Wilkinson County Health Department
The Wilkinson County Health Department is hosting a back-to-school event with school supplies giveaways, health screenings, and more for guests.
Family Fun Day
When: July 13, 9 a.m. - 1 p.m.
Where: Stone Creek Baptist Church
The event will have free food, games for the family, and a school supply giveaway.
Back-to-School Bash
When: July 19, times vary by location
Where: Perry High School (Drive-thru), Thomson Middle School (Drive thru), CB Watson Primary
Houston County is offering a back-to-school drive for families. Local agencies are giving away school supplies, community resources and more.
Around 2,400 backpacks, filled with supplies, will be available to Houston County children while supplies last.
When: July 19 from 9 a.m. - 2 p.m.
Where: Robins AFB Military and Family Readiness Center, 725 Ninth Street, Robins AFB

Baldwin County School District says it is trilled to invite students and their families to join them for a fantastic outdoor party celebrating the upcoming school year. The event will offer a wide range of activities for all attendees, including: Free food and drinks, free school supplies, free haircuts for kids, resource booths music and games.

The event will have free bookbag giveaways, free food, bounce houses, face painting and more.

The event will be held at the front of Fairview Park Hospital - look for the Frosty Frog Truck!
Guests will receive a backpack, hotdog or hamburger meal from Dexter Meat Company, and a Frosty Frog snow cone.

Monroe County is getting students ready for a new school year with a morning full of music, fun, and free school supplies..
The district invites parents to join this event to ensure children are prepared for success in the upcoming academic year.
When: July 26-28. Friday and Saturday from 10:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. Sunday from 12 p.m. to 5 p.m.

Brownbrook Market is hosting a pop-up back-to-school market for the third year. Potential vendors can sign up for booths or stand at the event here.
Peach County Trojan Fest
When: July 27, 9 a.m. - 1 p.m.

The event will offer free school supplies, free haircuts, food trucks and more.

Macon County will host a back to school bash/pep rally with options for donations of school supplies. You can find needed on the event flyer.

Where: Salvation Army in Warner Robins and located at 158 Manor Court

Event will include inflatables, face painting, adult drinks, vendors and more.

The event will have free schools supplies being distributed, information booths, food and music.

Where: Rosa Parks Square in Downtown Macon
Attorney Roy Miller and First Baptist Church organized the annual event. This year they will give away 100 book bags. Participants will take a short walk from Rosa Parks Square to First Baptist Church on News Street. There will be speakers on hand to reach young people with a positive message.
When: Saturday, August 3 at 10:00 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Where: Rosa Jackson Center, Macon
Sponsored by Hope 4 Healing Inc, with the Rosa Jackson Center and Light of The World Pentecostal Church. There will be free haircuts, hairstyles, and backpacks. There will also be free health screening including: Sugar/Glucose Check, Mobile Dental Bus and other Giveaways. The event will feature: i Am King Foundation, Macon Volunteer Clinic, Sickle Cell Foundation, Georgia Military College and the Macon Mental Health Coalition. There will be free frozen lemonade and drinks.
