'We will continue until we get him in custody:' Law enforcement continues manhunt for Bo Dukes

The man accused of hiding Tara Grinstead's death is now charged with rape and aggravated sodomy

The hunt for Bo Dukes – the man also charged with hiding Tara Grinstead’s death -- continues after police say he committed several new crimes in Bonaire on New Year’s Day.

Warner Robins Police say it began Tuesday in the 300-block of Charlestown Way in Bonaire where he allegedly took two women into his home, threatened them with a gun and raped at least one of them.

WRPD would not provide any updates on the search for Dukes Thursday, but the Houston County Sheriff’s Office did.

Cpt. Mike Stokes with the warrants division said more than half of his division is focused on tracking Dukes’ location.

They believe Dukes isn’t in Houston County anymore, but they are still hunting for new leads inside the county.

Meanwhile, US Marshals are leading the hunt for Dukes outside of the county and because the charges are serious, they will not stop until he’s found.

“We've continued the search today and will continue it until we get him into custody. The US Marshals Task Force is also looking for him and he will be the top priority until we can get him into custody,” said Stokes.

Stokes says they still believe Dukes is armed and dangerous and he says if you see Dukes, DO NOT approach him. Instead, call 911 or police and let them handle it.
