MACON, Ga. — A Warner Robins man has been arrested and charged for a crash that killed a 76-year-old man in May 2023, according to the Bibb County Sheriff’s Office.
41-year-old Andre Crepeau has been charged with second-degree homicide by vehicle for his role in a crash that killed 76-year-old John Joseph Mims on May 24 just before 4:30 p.m. on Millerfield Road in Macon.
According to the Bibb County Sheriff’s Office, Crepeau was driving a 2022 Ram 5500 on Millerfield Road when he crossed the center line and hit a Ford Econoline van that flipped on its side.
Mims was ejected from the van and pronounced dead at the scene. 41-year-old Tamekia McDaniel and 49-year-old Felice Dumas were also inside the van.
Dumas was taken to Atrium Health Navicent for her injuries.
