Two men were found guilty on Tuesday in a violent home invasion allegedly involving Life University college lacrosse players.
The case stems back to 2019 when Lyndsey Kallish of Duluth and Lauren Rielly of Alpharetta allegedly worked with two men to commit armed robbery of a group of people at an Airbnb house on Wylie Street.
Both Rielly and Kallish have been accused of telling the now-convicted suspects Tyrone Robinson and Maxx Pritchett about a party where there would be large amounts of cash and narcotics.
According to a county jail commitment document released to 11Alive in 2019, the document stated Pritchett and an unnamed suspect -- who would later be discovered as Robinson -- were going to go to the party and take the drugs. The document said that Rielly and Kallish were allegedly going to get cash in return. According to an initial release, the two women are accused of going to the party to survey the area before the men entered.
Victims later told police that a group of masked men entered the home while the door was unlocked and brandished firearms toward seven people. The men then pistol-whipped one victim to the point where he suffered a fractured skull, concussion and internal bleeding.
The suspects then demanded that everyone in the house get down on the floor, a report detailed. Authorities have said they then went through the home and took cellphones, wallets and Nike shoes before leaving.
Text messages later revealed a conversation that seemingly talks about the aftermath of the home invasion. Hours after allegedly leading the two men to the party, Rielly texted her teammate and friend, Kallish.
"Why was it so sexy that the boys were like beating people up," Rielly questioned.
Screenshots of the conversation previously revealed during a 2019 preliminary hearing showed Kallish responded that she wanted to sleep with one of the men who was accused of pistol-whipping another.
"Like it just really turned me on," Rielly said in the messages.
"Me too," Kallish responded.
Despite non-guilty pleas, a jury found both men guilty of various charges in the case on Tuesday.
Robinson was found guilty of home invasion, armed robbery, aggravated assault, aggravated battery, participation in criminal street gang activity and possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony. Pritchett was convicted on the same charges in addition to possession of a firearm by a first-offender probationer.
A sentencing date for the two men has yet to be organized, according to court records.
There are no verdicts currently listed for Rielly and Kallish. 11Alive reached out to the Fulton County Superior Court for an update on where the case stands for the former college athletes.
