FORSYTH, Ga. — A teen is in custody in South Carolina on murder charges stemming from a case in Monroe County.
According to a news release from the sheriff’s office, deputies responded to a homicide on Tingle Road Sunday.
The victim was identified as 42-year-old Tryeflue O’Neal. Her body was taken to the GBI Crime Lab for an autopsy.
The sheriff’s office says a teen suspect is in custody in South Carolina and arrangements are being made to extradite them back to Monroe County.
