MACON, Ga. — One man was shot in the leg after a fight outside the downtown Hummingbird Stage and Taproom early Monday.
In a news release, the Bibb County Sheriff's Office said it happened just around 12:30 a.m. outside the bar at 430 Cherry S.
They say it started with a fight outside the bar, and two people pulled out guns and started shooting. They did not say whether the shooting was connected to the bar.
The sheriff's office says the wounded person is stable at a local hospital.
The two people involved in the fight and shooting ran off before deputies arrived.
The sheriff's office is investigating.
